“Enlighten Me!”

The illiterate of the 21st century will not be those who cannot read and write, but those who cannot learn, unlearn, and relearn.

– Alvin Toffle

Good teaching requires practice, patience, intuition, and a growth mindset. It is an art, a skill and a gift. In my opinion, the happiest educators embrace a willingness to S-T-R-E-T-C-H our thinking and challenge our skill levels.

We live in the most exciting times in the history of forever! Opportunities abound and change is constant! We can connect and interact with the world around us in snap of a finger! Let’s collaborate. Let’s nurture the teaching AND learning gifts in one another on this life-long learner’s journey through the 21st century classroom and beyond.

I welcome you to Enlighten Me, a place for educators to gather. We’ll share ideas, discuss topics, trends, and more, and together we’ll equip and prepare our students and one another for a future filled with opportunity.

Teaching makes me happy, and I hope the content you find on this site taps your “inner educator” and brings joy to your classroom! Stay in touch with me at mrs.mcclennahan@gmail.com, and visit my store at Teachers Pay Teachers store.
